Truck Driver Helper

Assist truck drivers with loading, unloading, and live loading/unloading vehicles. The driver helper should be available to grab supplies while the driver completes pre-trip inspections, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment, and may assist drivers with accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes, and cold storage. Assist truck drivers in ensuring cargo is properly secured in accordance with safety requirements and following safety procedures for transporting goods. Helpers can warm up meals, make coffee/tea as required, and run minor errands to support maximum rest for drivers. Driver helpers can also serve as an extra set of eyes, assisting the driver with backing a trailer by standing behind the vehicle and signaling any unforeseen hazards. Check containers for physical damage and cleanliness.
