Position: Personal Care Attendant – Home Care
Job Location: Surrey. BC
No. of position: 1
Wage rate: $ 24.60/hour.
Language: English, Punjabi
Job duties:
· Provide personal care & companionship to the elderly.
· Assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
· Assist client in dressing & undressing.
· Routine health related duties like medication and accompanying to Doctor visits.
· Launder clothing and household linen
· Assist in regular exercise and walk.
· Administer medication intake as instructed by the employer/ doctor.
· Prepare meals for the client and serve food or feed if needed.
· May perform routine house keeping duties like laundry & making beds only for the personal use of the elderly.
Employment requirements:
Completion of High school is required.
Home support training for the elderly is an asset
First Aid certificate is required.
Experience:
1 - 2 years of related experience
Punjabi language is an asset
Work Setting
