PUNJAB MILK FOODS INC. is looking to hire 1 Packaging Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who package food and oversee the packaging of their dairy-based foods & Sweets manufacturing business. The applicant should be capable of supervising the Packaging team and responsible for all orders and their timely dispatches.

Wage Rate: $24.30/hour for 37.5 hours a week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Education: High School
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a supervisory position
Job Description:
- Purpose of the job:
To assist the Plant Supervisor to ensure Packaging operations are efficient.
- Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervising operations to ensure packaging quality are up to company standards and in a timely manner
- Supervising employees to ensure workflow is consistent and Packaging and dispatching operations are effective
- Conducting sanitation checks before packaging of food and coordinating with the sanitation department if any issues are found
- Ensuring employees are properly utilizing their personal protective equipment
- Resolving any issues related to department related machinery and coordinating with the Maintenance and Sanitation department when necessary.
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate with other departments
- Confirming all production and packaging materials/equipment is available for daily production and packaging operations
- Ensuring that production operations and production staff are compliant with food safety standards/ regulations
- Any production related work assigned by the Manager.
