PUNJAB MILK FOODS INC. is looking to hire 1 Production Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who process and package food and oversee the operations of their dairy-based foods & Sweets manufacturing business. The applicant should be capable of supervising the production team and keep the production going.

Wage Rate: $24.10/hour for 37.5 hours a week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Education: High School
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a supervisory position
Job Description:
- Purpose of the job:
To assist the Plant Supervisor to ensure daily production operations are effective and efficient.
- Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervising operations to ensure production quality are up to company standards and performing regular quality control checks
- Supervising employees to ensure workflow is consistent and operations are effective
- Conducting sanitation checks before production and coordinating with the sanitation department if any issues are found
- Ensuring employees are properly utilizing their personal protective equipment
- Identifying potential issues or concerns for department related machinery
- Resolving any issues related to department related machinery and coordinating with the Maintenance and Sanitation department when necessary.
- Collecting product samples/ product waste samples for testing and coordinating with Quality assurance department
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate with other departments
- Confirming all production and packaging materials/equipment is available for daily production and packaging operations
- Ensuring that production operations and production staff are compliant with food safety standards/ regulations
- Conducting checks on, including but not limited to, actuators, boilers, compressors, food safety inspection equipment, hot water pumps, pipe connections, and sensors to ensure full functionality up to company specified standards
- Any production related work assigned by the Manager.
